The GroundStudio Marble Pico development board is based on the RP2040 chip manufactured by Raspberry Pi. It has the same pinout as the Raspberry Pi Pico, but it is equipped with a series of improvements:
|
The GroundStudio Marble Pico development board is compatible with sensors and other modules that operate at a 3.3V voltage level.
For use with devices that have a 5V logic level, a separate logic level converter module is required.
There is an on-board LED controlled by the GP25 pin. When the pin is HIGH or LOW, the LED is on or off, respectively. The board also includes 2 additional LEDs for indicating the charging status, "CG", and power status, "ON". These can be disconnected using the solder jumpers on the back of the PCB.
| VBUS | Input voltage on the board from the USB connector. If the board is not powered through the USB connector, this pin can also be used to power the board from an external regulated 5V DC source. |
| VSYS | If the board is powered via USB, this pin can be used as a power source for other modules or sensors that require a 4.8-5V voltage and do not have a maximum instantaneous current consumption higher than 200mA. Otherwise, the board can be powered through this pin with a voltage between 3.4V and 6.5V. |
| 3V3 | A 3.3V source generated by the on-board regulator. The maximum instantaneous current consumption is 200 mA. |
| GND | Pins connected to ground. |
| ADC_VREF | Reference voltage for ADC conversion. |
| RUN | Usually used to read or modify the microcontroller reset state. |
| GPIO pins | 25 input and output pins. There are 26 GPIO pins in total, but GP15 has a special function during board reset, which is why we do not recommend using it. |
| PWM channels | There are 16 channels, and each pin can use a specific channel for the PWM function. |
