Product Description:

The USB to Serial converter module is based on the integrated circuit HT42B534-2. It is commonly used to connect a microcontroller or development board (Pro Mini, ESP8266, ESP32, etc.) to a computer.

The product converts signals between the USB protocol and the Serial protocol in both directions. It can operate at either a 3.3V or 5V logic level (selectable via jumper).

The power supply status is indicated by the "PWR" LED, while the presence of signals on the serial communication lines (Rx and Tx) is shown via the "RTX" LED.

To minimize power consumption, the two LEDs can be individually disabled using the RTX and PWR DISABLE LEDs jumpers located on the back of the PCB.

Power Supply Voltage: 3.3V or 5V

• For 5V, the current is supplied directly by the connected USB port (max 500mA).
• For 3.3V, the current is supplied by the module's onboard regulator (max 500mA).

* No additional driver installation is required for any modern operating system (unlike other modules on the market, e.g., CH340, FTDI, etc.).
