Product Description

The RDM6300 is a 125 kHz RFID reader module with UART (TTL) interface, designed for reading passive RFID tags and cards. It is compatible with most microcontrollers (such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, etc.) and is easy to integrate into access control, identification, and DIY projects.

It works with read-only tags (e.g., EM4100) and can read their UID from a distance of up to 5 cm, depending on the antenna and tag used.

Example Arduino Connection

Recommended wiring:

Arduino        →        RDM6300
5V             →        P3 : pin2 (+5V)
GND            →        P3 : pin3 (GND)
D4             →        P1 : pin1 (TX)

The module sends tag data over serial in plain format, which can be displayed using Serial Monitor or processed in your code.

• EM4100 (read-only)
• Other 125 kHz passive RFID tags (non-writable)
