Product Description

The SIM800C (green PCB) GSM/GPRS module is a compact and reliable solution for IoT, telemetry, and remote control projects. It supports quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), SMS, voice calls, and GPRS data, enabling quick integration into monitoring systems, SMS alerts, or simple data connections (HTTP/TCP/UDP).

The board includes a micro-SIM holder, an external antenna (included), and pins for UART, power, and status signaling. The rich SIMCom AT command set ensures easy and flexible configuration.

Important note: SIM800C requires 3.4–4.4 V (typically ~4.0 V) and current peaks up to ~2 A during transmission. Do not power it directly from 5 V; use a dedicated step-down converter and place low-ESR capacitors close to the power pins.
