Infrared beam sensor switch

Description:

U photoelectric sensor has two components: LED that emits infrared phototransistor. The distance between the arms is 5 mm.
The sensor is useful to detect if an object is located between the arms and stops the transfer of IR radiation. For example, the sensor can be used to calculate the number of engine revolutions per minute, using a wheel encoder.
